Hi, I'm Eric!

I've always loved technology. As a kid, I would often sit with my dad (an IT manager) and do my best to help as he replaced parts in one of the handful of partially finished computers he was tinkering with. As a teenager, I gravitated toward the software side of things: building a small website for hosting Flash games, learning the ins and outs of Photoshop, and using CSS to make themes for online forums that I was active on.

After several years of working in the restaurant industry, doing everything from waiting tables to managing a local restaurant to running a food truck, I decided to dive back into tech and enrolled in a year-long, part-time coding boot camp with App Academy. I recently completed the program and learned to code in JavaScript and Python, with frontend experience in React/Redux, and backend experience in Flask and Express.
